Born with a pencil in hand, Jamie’s connection to art began as early as he can remember. From painting to drawing, creativity was always second nature to him, with school books often filled more with sketches than notes. Inspired by cartoons, anime, and pop culture from a young age, he grew up drawing icons like Pokémon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dragon Ball Z, shaping the bold artistic style he is known for today.
Largely self-taught in his early years, Jamie later began his apprenticeship on the Central Coast, where he learned from respected artists and continued to refine his craft. Since then, he has worked across numerous studios throughout the Central Coast, Brisbane, Newcastle, and Sydney, building over 16 years of experience and evolving with tattooing from old-school roots through to the modern era.
A mentor to many and an artist with true versatility, Jamie is especially known for anime, bold colour, and pop culture work, though his skill reaches far beyond one style. His creativity, adaptability, and passion for the craft have made him a standout artist with a reputation built on both talent and hard work.
In 2020, Jamie opened The Tattoo Lounge, creating a studio built on loyalty, respect, and genuine love for the industry. As a leader, friend, and artist, he is known for being understanding, dedicated, and fiercely loyal — qualities that continue to shape both the studio and the people within it.
